Certified Physician Assistant
Claire Rogers is a Certified Physician Assistant, providing comprehensive medical dermatologic care as well as performing surgical closures alongside our MOHs micrographic surgical team.
She joined the Skin Cancer & Cosmetic Dermatology Center in 2014, bringing nine years of previous dermatology experience to the practice. Claire obtained her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Erskine College in 2003, where she was granted a full academic and athletic (tennis) scholarship. She then completed her Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2005.
She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Christian Medical & Dental Association, Georgia Academy of Physician Assistants, Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants. She actively attends continuing medical education conferences in order to stay updated on dermatologic disease states and the most current therapies for her patients.
Claire is a member of Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church. She has participated in a number of skin screenings and health fairs for employees of the Sara Lee Bakery Group and Georgia Power, as well as multiple divisions of Floyd County Government in Georgia. She also enjoys lecturing to the Floyd Medical Center Residency Program. Claire practices in the Rome office full time.
