    Having passed the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Certifying and Surgical exams, Duke has been practicing since 1999. He is a licensed Physician Assistant in Tennessee and Georgia. He is a member of the Fellow Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Fellow Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants, Fellow Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants, and was elected State of Tennessee Delegate to American Academy of Physician Assistants 2001 National Conference.

    He graduated with Honors Summa Cum Laude from The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Texas, with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. He also graduated from the U.S. Army Physician Assistant Program, U.S. Academy of Health Sciences, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. He is, also, a graduate of Hugh Greenway’s Superficial Anatomy & Cutaneous Surgery Course.

    He served in the U.S. Army, undergoing Infantry, Airborne, and Ranger training at Fort Benning, GA. He began his career working in the surgical specialties before switching to dermatology in 2000. His extensive surgical experience is a great asset in the discipline of dermatological surgery. Duke also enjoys the clinical aspects of dermatology and the challenge of treating diseases of skin, hair and nails. Duke is practicing both clinical and surgical dermatology in our Kimball office. He has served as a proctor for multiple Intermediate and Advanced Surgical Workshops for Georgia Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and has been a Faculty Lecturer for the Advanced Surgical Workshop for the National Conference of The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. He authored a surgical article in the Surgical Dermatology column for the Journal of Dermatology for Physician Assistants.

    He is an avid horseman and breeder of Quarter Horses. He and his family have competed in Cutting, Sorting, and Team Penning events around the country. He has participated in medical mission trips to Honduras and Mexico, has been a medical American Red Cross Volunteer, and donated his time at a Christian Free Medical Clinic. He has financially sponsored and donated his time in coaching youth soccer, basketball, and football.
